Administrators Wanted!
Here is my wish list for the kind of talent required to build The Virtual Nations Of African Americans. These are initially volunteer positions, however, commitment integrity and efficiency will attract pay early on. Ultimately this will become a full-time job for many.
1. Accounting-We need an accounting firm willing to manage the finances of the Virtual Nation Of African Americans. Responsibilities will include banking, taxation, AR & AP and investments.
2. Legal-A sharp legal team. One dedicated to assisting not only the Virtual Nation Of African Americans as an entity but the individual members as well. This law firm or individual must have significant legal resources and be able to delegate legal cases to talented attorneys or firms specific to the issues at hand. Again, must be willing to volunteer their services, initially, as we all do presently.
3. Site administrators and discussion moderators-Content is everything. Relevance, accuracy and timeliness are key here. You must be able to devote several hours per day to observing this site and participating in the management of it with consistency.
4. Social Network Code Warriors-Creators of the desktop Virtual Nation application, you will help us make cutting edge tools for education, research, business development and other member initiatives available, often from scratch.
For instance:
1. A portal for African American youth
2. A re-entry portal for incarcerated African Americans soon to be released.
3. A mentoring portal for young parents. Mothers & Fathers
4. Tenant's Action Portal-To help renters get answers online
African American business professionals, health care professionals, especially natural health care professionals and medical professionals with a focus on prevention are invited to create content.
Much more to come and suggestions are welcome. As we grow, so does your pay.
