Thoughts

Why is it so hard for African American woman to find an African American man that does not let his ego get in the way of his relationship. I do think most of them do not remember that they were raised by a single woman. Which means she ran the house and showed his sister how to run their homes. I think men do not know how to balance the term "where he is weak...she is strong. This goes to the majority of men that have not been shown how to be a man in this society. First and foremost you are human. Something you and women have in common.

Perhaps this is part of the problem, dear. Black men are expected to lead their families in a society where implicit in all their dealings is that a white man can come into their homes and take them away. Black men are socialized to let black women run things and have no real social experience as men who lead, unless they do from their own fathers. Black men in America are so terribly feared by their white counterparts until the system often makes their women enemy agents, in their very household. What is necessary is dialog. We have to see our relationships, marriages and love affairs as partnerships where different skillsets are employed to deal with different aspects of life. Until we become true partners to each other, instead of bosses, micro-managers and critics we will continue to have dysfunctional relationships.

I haven't given it the paypal functionality yet but you get the idea. I am searching for a better cataloguing system for artists works. Haven't found anything too satisfactory yet.
